The shield is made of polypropylene. The BIBS pacifier is 100% BPA and PVC free. They have been tested and found compliant with European regulations.

Store the BIBS pacifier dry and clean. Do not place the BIBS pacifier in direct sunlight or heat. This will cause the rubber to soften.

You can clean the BIBS pacifier by sterilizing it before use by pouring boiling water over it. Boil it in boiling water for 5 minutes before first use. Before use, squeeze any water out of the teat once it has cooled down.

It is recommended to replace a pacifier every 4-6 weeks.
