“Zazu Sam – Sleep Trainer and Night Light
Do you also have the silent wish that your children sleep longer in the morning? That your children don’t stand at your bedside at 6 o’clock in the morning? And wouldn’t it be nice if sleeping in becomes part of the weekend rhythm?
Sleep problems are common in young children!
Young children do not have the same sense of time as we do as adults. For young children, the day starts when you open your eyes, and it ends when you go to bed!
The Sam Sleep Trainer helps your children get used to the sleep rhythm!
The Sam helps your child get used to the sense of time of “grown-ups”. In a very simple way, the Sam sleep trainer shows your child when their parents are happy to see them in the morning, and when they should stay in bed for a little while longer.
How does the Sam sleep trainer do this?
• Time to sleep!
The sleep trainer Sam goes to sleep when your child goes to bed. The Sam sleep trainer closes his eyes and the screen on his stomach turns red. This means it's time to go to sleep.
• Just wait a little longer!
For early birds, the Sam Sleep Trainer has a very handy function. The sleep trainer shows exactly how long it will take before he wakes up. Half an hour before Sam wakes up, the screen on his stomach changes to an orange color. To indicate exactly how long it will take, the 12 stars will disappear one by one, and thus count down the 30 minutes.
• You can get up!
As soon as your child is allowed to get up, Sam opens his eyes, the screen turns green and a sun appears on the screen. You can of course set the time at which this happens yourself. Sleep trainer Sam does this silently, so that your child does not wake up if he/she is still asleep. It would of course be a shame if your child is woken up by the sleep trainer, causing you to miss that one extra long sleep!
What else can sleep trainer Sam do?
• Two time settings
You can set sleep trainer Sam in two ways. At a specific time (for example 7 o'clock), but also after a certain number of minutes (for example 120 minutes). This function is specifically intended for an afternoon nap, for example.
• Alarm
Sleep trainer Sam also has an audible alarm, the setting of which can differ from the time at which Sam wakes up. For example, you can set Sam to open his eyes at 7:00 am and have the alarm go off at 8:00 am. Of course, you can also choose not to set an alarm at all.
• Night light
Sleep trainer Sam has an LCD screen that can also serve as a night light. This screen can remain on all night to reassure your child (use the adapter). There is also a timer option, which automatically switches off the night light after 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
• Power supply
The Sam sleep trainer works on both 220V (adapter included) and on batteries (4 x AA, not included). Please note that when you use the night light function, you connect the sleep trainer to the mains.
